About Your Tuscaloosa Veterinary Clinic

The Veterinarians of May Veterinary Clinic

May Veterinary was founded in 1964 by Dr. A. Wayne May. He was joined in practice by his sons Waller, in 1989, and Guy, in 1991. Dr. May retired in 1995 and the brothers took over the practice that year.

The entire staff at May Veterinary is pleased to give back as much as it can to the communities that have been so supportive of our practice over the years. We sponsor several road races including the Tashka 50K/25K Trail Race from which all the proceeds go to help support our local Children's Hands On Museum (CHOM), The Canine Classic 5K that helps support our local Humane Society, and the Field of Dreams 5K providing support to a local park in Tuscaloosa. Our veterinarians speak to many local school groups and volunteer their time at a local animal shelter.

Our veterinary technician, Kim Romain, volunteers her time at the local library where she has created the Tail Tellers Program. This program helps young people practice reading out loud by reading to the animals.

We also offer pet adoptions at each of our three locations.
