Pet Boarding and Grooming in Tuscaloosa

Boarding

veterinarians in tuscaloosaWhen traveling for business or on vacation there is a lot to do and enough stress without having to worry about who is going to take care of your beloved animal companion.

We are all pet owners and we deliver our boarding service in the same way we would want our own pet cared for. When you bring your pet in for boarding, they will be personally admitted to the hospital by one of our trained veterinary team members.

If your pet has special health needs such as medicine administration, food preparation, and exercise restrictions, we will review these needs with you. Clients are welcome to bring their pet's own food. Toys and personal items are welcome to help make your pet as comfortable as possible.

We also have a separate area for our cat condos, many with a view of the outdoors.

We feed both our cat and dog boarders EN Diet by Purina. EN Diet helps control vomiting and diarrhea that may occur due to the stress of being away from their normal environment.

Reservations are not required but are highly recommended, especially during the holidays and summer break.

We have climate-controlled boarding facilities, offering both large and small runs, as well as multiple-sized cages.

We provide bathing services at all three locations for dogs and cats. This service may include: bath, nail trim, and anal gland expression.

Required vaccines are:
For dogs: Rabies, DHLP PV CV, Bordetella (Kennel cough)
For cats: Rabies, FVRCP, Bordetella

Grooming

Grooming is more than just a bit of pet pampering, it's an important preventive component in keeping your pet happy and healthy. Regular baths and nail trims help remove harmful germs from the fur and paws that are picked up as your pet plays outside. Trims also provide a great opportunity for the groomer to notice dried or cracked paw pads or skin issues.

From seeing so many happy dogs and cats walk out of our grooming area, we also know that a good bath and brush makes your pet feel great and adds to his or her wellbeing.

Grooming hours are:
Monday - Friday 8 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. (by appointment only)
